Youth In order to reach the goal of having ZERO new HIV infections, it is important to focus on the youth as a key target population for prevention messages and efforts.Various issues place the lives of the youth at risk, including a health service that is not easily accessible for the youth. Often time, young people avoid accessing clinics because of stigma and services that are not youth-friendly. Access to health services is also worse off for rural youths, compared to urban youths. Without duplication, the Youth Sector aims to work with other sectors on interventions for young people, for example, young LGBTI, young people with disabilities, young men, etc. Priorities: To secure youth-friendly clinical (and other services). To fight substance abuse. To create gender equality among the youth. To enable youth access to opportunity. To fight stigma.
